Nokia has started releasing Windows phone from the year 2010 and has been so successful that it had now started releasing windows phone which are quite affordable in order to make people experience they first launched Nokia Lumia 610 which when hit the market began to get good sales. It became so popular that they also launched another device with 4 inch screen which was Nokia Lumia 510. This devices was launched with windows phone 7.8 Operating system which is the latest one and is about to come on upcoming devices. This device has quite several limitations and low memory but still comes to be a handy device. So let us check it out in the review.

Hardware
Nokia Lumia 510 has been given quite descent hardware specs which are 265 MB ram, 800 MHz Processor, 1300mAh battery, and 4GB internal memory in which 2GB is usable. The screen is quite decent in display and has got 5MP Autofocus Camera with no flash. Everything suited the phone quite well according to price except the memory which is very much disturbing to those who keep music and videos. The device rarely lagged. Also this device is packed with Adreno 200 which proves that gaming is possible on this device.
Design
The design of the phone is impressive with 4.0 inch screen. The phone is round curved with candy like design and has got shiny silver rim from its side which looks quite impressive. In front of the device we see the clean curved glass settling on the device with three capacitive buttons which are back, home and search. On the side of the device there are three buttons which look quite sleek and the Lock button is provided between the volume rocker and dedicated camera button.
Camera
This device has got a 5MP autofocus camera which takes brilliant pictures and VGA video @30fps also this device has got dedicated camera key which makes photography comfortable. Also there are several apps by Nokia Lumia which is known as Camera Extras which makes taking picture much easier and simpler. Unfortunately there is no front facing camera.
Memory
This is the most troubling part of the device. You get 4GB of internal memory space for installing app, music and videos. More irritating part is that it has 2GB usable. Also some apps are limited on this device. However, if you are business user and require only photos and videos then this phone is a must as you can upload pictures to SkyDrive with 7GB of storage. This apply to documents as well all can be uploaded to SkyDrive which clears most of the problem.
Battery
Battery of this device performed quite well with up to 8hrs on 2G and 6hrs on 3G connection.
Operating System
According to hardware this device runs on latest Windows Phone 7.8 which is still to come on various devices.
Other Features by Nokia
Nokia has given well care to this device by providing exclusive apps like offline Nokia Drive, Nokia Music, Nokia Camera Extras and Nokia Maps which proves to be quite helpful and are being frequently updated by Nokia and their team.
Conclusion
If you are into buying a budget handset then you must try this device because this device has got better support than android devices and the most importantly the battery which android devices lack a lot. However this phone is only a must if you are using it for business purpose and not for storage purpose as it would not suit at all. Also if you can increase more budget then it is highly recommended to move to Lumia 620 which is much better than this device as it would be having strong external storage with heavily packed features.

Well, it is also my first device. I bought Nokia Lumia 510 last month and I am pretty happy with the device. Unfortunately, there are not many powerful games and apps available on WP7 platform

Cannot figure out the phone I want to get. I like this Nokia Lumia but I might just end up spending the money and going with the Samsung Galaxy S.
